Sarcasm is funny and all, especially when it's verbal and it's understood as such. However, sarcasm in the written form leaves a LOT to interpretation, so while there's nothing wrong with using it on the forum, please bear in mind that it will be misinterpreted at times. There's no reason to be impolite to forum moderators or staff if they're unsure of your intentions.
Thank you
Uuuh, ok Relic, i'm not sure what you read, but it was a moderator that I found to be sarcastic when he posted for us to stay on topic.
We ALL need to follow the "rules." Period.
I have to say, we have been doing rather well, albeit the forum has become rather... umm... inactive.
This is nothing new. And, it's already VERY old, but as long as he thinks it's "cute" to post things that are completely unnecessary just to flex his mod muscles, so be it. I have a virtual ignore button. *click*

Point made and heard.
There is a lot of sarcasm that goes on in our forum, and honestly it makes it difficult to know sometimes when a thread is intended to be so or not. I understand fully that the sarcasm derives from customer dissatisfaction. Again, I want to stress that when people are misunderstood on the forum, it's often because the nuances in conversation that are present normally aren't always clear in writing. We all, staff and forum members, can benefit from keeping that in mind and going easy on people who aren't sure of the motive behind the words.
No, 1Shot was not being sarcastic in his post just to clarify.
Thanks!
One might argue that the topic of this thread is about inactivity on the forum. In order to remain on that topic, strictly speaking, would it not require that no comments or replies be posted at all?
The forum died ages ago. The heavy handed moderation is extremely funny given there really isn't much left to moderate.
The biggest issue it seems is staying on topic. So a moderator reads the initial post and determines how far we have strayed from that conversation (wonder if yhey using the OnTopico3000). Obviously this is a cardinal sin. Not that in real life conversations don't evolve.
So silly.
Always Famous......
Trolling thread. Locking.
If you have nothing nice or civil to type, then type somewhere else. Not on this forum.
