Tadaah, need some help here...

Tadaah, my friend (in-game username is xXProheavyXx) cant get into the app. Every time he tries to open to the application, it immediately crashes. He has been having this issue for 3 days. He is worried he will never be able to play again. I dont know if anyone else is having this issue, but regardless, any helpful tips or a solution. He has also re-started his Ipad mini, closed it out completely, and updated the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does he have enough spare memory on his device? If the memory is too full it can slow everything down and cause some apps to malfunction. He might need to delete some less needed apps to clear some space.
