Come on gree how long does it really take to fix the new boost buildings?

What exactly is the issue with the boost buildings? I was about to invest in one or two of them but I've been reading a lot of user complaints over the last couple days-- I just can't seem to find the posts that actually clarify the issues with them. Can someone post a run down of the issues?
