A reason is easy to find. A good reason, well that's a different story. How about:
You're playing a game that, despite its many many flaws, you enjoy. You're getting a lot of value if you're playing for free. Sure some aspects of the game aren't available to you if you do go free, but you're still getting entertainment out of it. Many hours worth. Not to mention the social element that accompanies the game and that follows you outside the game.
A reason? How about helping support the developers and help pay for the game. Even if just a little bit.
Another reason is, your iph growth. Whether short term or long term will benefit from these buildings.
And yet another reason would be to make your hood look pimp.
And lastly, the most important reason in my eyes, so you won't be considered a penny-pinching tight-wad with a chip on his shoulder,
