I was wondering if its better to equip lower items and have a higher mafia attack or other way around I was at 11\76 then switched and I'm at 6\81 witch is better

I believe gree said that soldier accounts for 30% of the battle and army items 20% or something like that , so it's better to have a better soldier that way that part of the equation will be closer .
I would heave to find that gree statement to confirm it

I would have to check as well, but I was thinking it was the other way around... army 30% and soldier 20%

Army is 30%, soldier is 20%. Whether that means you should blindly allocate your best items to the army is a different questin

basically. if you only have one set of equip for each, army should have best, but by now you should have multiple sets of gear for army. so the power of your best set would be diluted in to only a farction of the army's 30% Its better to use your best gear for all of 20% once you have more than two sets total.

Put your best gear on your soldier.
