I have 7 wins and 18 losses this is madness and I'm wasting gold.
I am actually doing very well so far 36 wins and 1 loss
At 20 wins and a loss and I'm doing decent, the one loss wad me stupidly misreading Intel.. still should've won that attack had it not been for the involving of the opponent's ask stats.. for whatever reason GREE thought that was a good idea

And yes the involving of attack** stats (not ask) is completely retarded.
Defensive wins are a good thing but you're losing Judd add many of your own attacks as you are winning others, and I'll take my own attack vs defensive any day

Think I've got it figured out now..... at least, this works for me. (will add some pix later after doctoring names)
So, stats are 50% of a fight, mafia accomplices 30% and kingpin 20%. To win you need to score 50% or better, which explains how you can win if your stat attack is big enough even if you "lose" in the other two categories.
The margin needed to win a category decisively is 4:1. Get that in stats and you win regardless.
If you win by 4:1 in one of the accomplices categories then a 2:1 margin in stats should be enough to take the victory. As I think should be a simple win in both other categories.
When you don't have the clear margin in any category is where your opponents attack vs your defence starts coming into play.
So far I've no info on what might happen if you win both accomplice categories but lose on stats; would you need to get a 4:1 margin in both those to overcome a stats loss? Any input welcomed.
Before war. Even nearly x3 win in stats isn't good enough.
Also before war. X4 stats margin beats losses in the other two areas.
Straightforward win everywhere.
X2 stats win and narrower wins in the others good enough?
X3 stats win and win in one other category good enough?
On the other hand I have lost once in this war despite "winning" in all three areas when the margin was less than 2:1.

... Going to be good, but the matching of syndicates seems whacked out. Half(or more) of my people can't begin to play and the other half can only win if they dump gold (an exaggeration, but).

That's odd. You seem surprised.
This is the most brutal I've done in a long long time. You don't have enough information even after hitting and losing to judge whether you might win one.
If attack and defense both count towards defense, it would be nice to see them both.

It's based on how much you lift brah, same as always.
Gold isn't light, sounds as if you need to lift more. Remember to use your legs, 7 wins is way too weak!!

Thanks to Sis's post above and me crushing some serious weight, I think I got a handle on this.
We started off rough, but if you lift enough, brother, you're going to be ok.
Either that or you're gay. Anyway.
The important thing is to lift.
