What kind of squads do they have? I've noticed that depending on what kind of squad you have then it results in what kind of units you get. For example, me and I don't know 5 friends did a test. One of us had a squad of all level one commons, and they got an UR first key. I had all my URs in my squad, and got a might of the worker. The 3 others had
average SR and Rare squads, they got more, average rare and SRs. So maybe a random thing? Or GREE made certain units for certain squads?

This also goes for the fact that when I had tanks, I got infantry (and vice versa) and then when I had all recon, I got helicopters (and Vice Versa).

So to further prove this-- I just opened 3 gold chests with 3 different squads--
My all UR squad got me a Nevskys Passage (R)
My all SR squad got me Harvester (SR)
and my all common units with one exterminator squad got me Shalla drone

So Striker1111 this is perhaps why you always get the same things! You have the same squad, and continue to get the same things. We had similar squads for a while, and both had Refusals left and right. I changed my squad and now have SR tanks everywhere. And lastly, for the epics, people have a certain squad, and then continue to get epic after epic.

I don't know, maybe a coincidence, but my guess is no.

I tried this with all Common and got Might of The Worker...go figure...like I need another of those !...but haven't yielded a decent unit in last 5 events , that's over a month

"Gets epic unit" Ohhhh! So that's what they're used for!

I don't think those guys got epic after epic by accident. They figured out the algorithm and defeated the gold chest system with a collective effort and started the feast. I was told they have much much more epic units than we could imagine hidden in their storage. Now this game has become high school kids (us) against pros (the few alliances which were involved in this epic feast and filled their tanks with tons of epic units)

Now any of their top 15 players can easily take on and crush the top player of any opponent alliance. I am afraid more honest players will quit this game and this game will soon become the paradise of players who don't play by the rule (cheaters, hackers, etc.)

Gree needs to fix this and it has to be done fast. This epic promotion farce has expedited the death of this game if they don't do something about it.

This is an interesting theory that I will try out next promotion. I bet they still change up the units they drop every now and then despite your squad. I did notice I stopped getting Refusals once I added two maxed ones to my squad. Anything to give you hope though. I do see some validity though considering I usedt o get better stuff from chests when I was starting out.

I replaced 2 Persephones with myrmidons when I won them, my first tank I received since was yesterday, a Manifesto whoopee, in the meantime my persephones have become inadequate for anything, and (thank you Gree,) myrmidons are crap now too. I've sadly moved seriously backwards in my capabilities.

this is the reason why I have stop buying gold chest now.
every month without fail, I will buy 3k gold bars, despite spending near to $1.5k now,
sadly I don't even have a max unit of UR at all, zero and none at all.

the most I have now for my highest lvl of UR is a lvl 40 collective struggle, what a joke right lol.

Got nothing but stoopid rares.....i used 8 gold keys......what ajoke , even cleared all SR's and UR's by putting them all in storage , just in case. Maybe its just me, im baaad luck

We've all spent a good number of keys in an effort to better our squads. Sometimes you get lucky, most of the time you don't. I've never gone to a casino, lost money, and then acted like it was "unfair".
Every single game that charges any kind of money for a "chance" at winning something is a gamble.
I'm really not trying to sound like a jerk.. Just use every key with the expectation that you're going to get crap. At least that way, when you get crap, you don't feel like you got screwed as well.

I'm really not trying to sound like a jerk.. Just use every key with the expectation that you're going to get crap. At least that way, when you get crap, you don't feel like you got screwed as well.

its all about the % of win chance..yes you can go to a casino, but they must tell or advertise the odds of you winning, they do the same with Lotto chances, here you don't know what % of winning is, so its blind luck, but if there is a chance of increasing that % by removing certain units from your line up then the better we are, its trying to better the game for all, yes I spend, yes im bad luck, but im trying anyhow no matter what the odds, its a game not a lifestyle, its my choice and I choose to open keys , the unfair is not knowing your chances....yes we get 1 x UR with 44 gold keys, you work out the maths on that , its not good , but we also get the Epic +120% but based on what normal % 0.2 ? if my chances where 5% better odds, I would spend more if the basis was 15% standard then apply your bonus %, they are random chests, but at what rate ? that's the unfair part...%
