Fusing Jewelry does not count as Fusion Combines?!?

Seems odd to me that fusing rings and amulets does NOT count as Fusion Combines toward the count in Guild quests/tasks.

I've done at least 25 and none has counted toward our 1200 Fusion Combine guild task?!?

I don't understand why this is since the both cost $25k and 1 fusion star just the same as armor fusing...?
Did someone simply forget to code this in or is this something purposely denied us?

...or is it just me that has issue with this?
