My faction is going gold free. And will play casually, instead of a war every 50 minutes maybe every other hour or once every 3. Maybe we will even take a day off. Either way if we don't place our normal 200 it doesn't matter. A 7 day war is ridiculous.
Hmm they increased the length of the event by more than 100% but will likely get 80% of the revenue from the old 3 day format.... Interesting.
Actually looking forward to 7 days, my test faction did 4 battles in 3 days and placed around 1300 so 1 more battle should get it into the top 1000!
But I also recall the epic failure that a 7 day WD was and the backlash that hit Funzio. I guess there isn't anyone left from the old Funzio crew that could have told the new owners that this might be another epic fail and at the worst possible time of the year too boot.
