Or rather the option to choose any lower prize.
It would be much better to have it where you get the prize for your current tier AND the tier below it. This way you dont have to sit on a tier at half its rank and hope you're not pushed out. It would be a way to keep the prize you're going for.
I agree. you should get your prize tier and an option to select one from one of the lower tiers, so you don't have to hold back at all.
