3 year anniversary gift - stamina/energy

I may have missed the Explanation of using these 2 gifts and I could not find anything in the Forum
so how does this work?
does energy fill up the full amount or only up to 1000 as if I were using Gold to fill it?
anyone any idea? explanation? thanks

I know where to find them but my question was if eg Stamina fills only up to 1000 or fill up the whole amount Stamina I have
