Real smart do a update of the game in the middle of event

Some of you may have noticed how the game has dropped invasion and gone to PVP well it seems also there been a update pushed though as well, of which some seems semi-active.

One feature it seems in the future when it goes live is the ability to link your account to your game center account in game instead of sending a email this came up when i started the game again.

The second is now the ability to "revenge" players that attacked your base, how much this will cost ect i cant tell you as i only got to see bits before it was turned off by the game.

But the point is why on earth do a game update in the middle of event instead of waiting untill the current one has finished???
