The thing is that there are many who completed the quest with the high XP but did not get the sky pirate while others did. Also, some had their sky pirate removed while for others it is still there....

It's more likely that they made another error by distributing different prizes. I doubt that they care that we leveled up so much.

I'm waiting at 29/40 normal till I hear whether they are going to fix it or not. I will complete the ltq either way but don't want to regret if they decide to fix the xp like last time.

Moved into tier 51-75 since the last boss and got 3 uncommons and 44 commons in the combined 47 bosses killed.

Has anyone got the reward for step 4(10 barracks). I could not find it in my inventory as well.

Even the pigskin bombs don't help that much in the last tier. With 110 bombs, I could only beat 1 more boss for free and ended with another common. I'm not wasting my gold on this one.
