I think it is based on my armours as I don't have epics and they do.

Anyone else notice that the arena reward is phoenix feathers! For placing 1501 or worse to 5000 you get 6 feathers.

They probably can't code that restriction. Or can't be bothered so what we are experiencing is a work around.

If you are really set on creating infernal your best bet is fusing legendary boss armours.

I will be crafting Assassin+ from scratch even though I can fuse Guardian, it may be a waste of time and resources but I like the look of Assassin much better. I have given up...

I wonder at the creating of epics, much less allowing the to be fused.
Great fuses like Clayplate, Combustion and Guardian used to make (and I guess still do) fusing a good way to get powerful boss+...

I guess Cloudking + Mono Earth = not allowed (doing so with Corvus would guarantee Cloudking)
Ruby Plate + Mono Spirit = not allowed (doing so with Wanderer Shroud would give Ruby Plate)

When I kill guardians the game does not give the opportunity to see drops, it cuts me off before the disintegration sparkles are done. Thus no opportunity to get drops.

I did 11 DPC once with gems from a lucky stream of videos 2 months ago. The only thing of note was a vinewood carapace. From the post above, vinewood is a common DPC reward.

I would imagine if you fuze with feather blade you have a high chance of cloudking. Just my experience with legendary with wind. Cloudking with fire (wanderers shroud) gave me combustion though! ...

I experience something like this to. My data service is very unreliable.
After doing something important I do some arena battles and check the leader boards.

You say you have guardian maxed, so yes you can skip living flame.
If you can get some good friends you can also probably get a boss+ armour if you work hard.
