You don't have to keep them. Once you have finished crafting them it records it in your quest.

I'm not super annoyed with grinding, so I just grinded most of the basic stages (Theive's Cove, Relic Ruins etc.) but for the Valhallon Ingots I grinded Guardian's Crossing because the griffon...
