You get the prizes for completing goals. Once complete the goal no longer appears for you and it won't reset. You can, however, get the individual items again and again.

To get my prize for beating an epic boss? If I am on the leaderboard with enough points I DONT get my prize unless CC is running (I can lock my phone and I'll still get it). Really inconvenient.

Generally the ltbs go beyond the war schedule. I think they end on a Wednesday (US) usually.

In order to get the 10/10 goal completed you only need to start the 9 -> 10 upgrade, right? It doesn't need to be completed.
