FYI You can't lose gold items. I have a very good attack and defense for my level. and it can sometimes far exceed other players (sometimes by more that 2000), but I haven't spent a dime on the game....

That is my understanding as well. I just add the higher levels so that when I get to their level, they are unable to attack me.

Different playing strategies. I know that I don't look at the VIP list when I want to add players, it's convenient, but if you are at a lower level, I would rather add higher level players.

I think it may be a one time thing to get more players on MW. I am at level 22(I think) on MW, and the only crossover reward so far has been the Military Assault Rifle.

Mine still crashes but not as much. I find that the screen freezes though, then I buy more units than I intended. I still don't have access to unit buildings though.

Because you lose units when you do jobs and when you battle, or are attacked.

It means that you have a mission involved in that building(upgrading)

You can use them to buy better vehicles, ships and aircrafts. If you go to the units to purchase, you will see which you can buy with valor!
