Well they can still gain points hitting the castle. Actually low level account will gain more points hitting the castle than walls.

As a programmer and dba I COMPLETELY agree with you. It's not hard or taxing on the servers to create a separate process that monitors the top guilds. Or to run queries on guilds with all bonuses...
