But the events are completely optional... All gree is doing is reducing spending cause even lvl 100+ players might not want to complete these events with the xp gains = no gold spending

You guys should be looking at xp gain instead of levels.

A lvl 50 with 50k xp and 250k stats is a lot different from a lvl 100 with 200kxp and 500k stats.

The stat gain greatly outweighs the xp gain. Not many events can you get 7-8 unboosted attack per point of xp.
