The ally count you see is the true number of allies.
However they can only bring 'their level x 5' allies worth of units to battle.

So you might initially see 500, but only 300 worth turn up...

Weezy, what are you calling high stat nowadays?
Still the conventional 300-400?
Or now that it's out, that Thorrodin's over a million, is high stat 700-800?
