I think creating an area to farm for gems would be great. Just put a limit on how many times a day you can visit the area, this way it is not abused.

I agree with this whole heartedly!! If not make the drop rates better, this way you can at least get the nonplus version.

I have to disagree with this. I have been playing the same level all day and only gotten 3 shards. Each time I am running through at least 5-6 times every 2-3 hours.
I also had 5 shards disappear...
