The drop rates are much better, I think this change to heroic mode is for the better. Way less frustrating, and more difficult to get the plus armor. Still very easy to get the regular version though.

Hopefully they are trying to make the amount of gems received from videos more even across the world. Was pretty unfair that americans could easily get 10+ videos a day while the rest of the world...

The only thing that has changed is the scoring system. Guilds are still spending the same amount to win wars, with the odd war costing more due to a higher interest in the armor.
