I run with Blazeborne, Witches Robes and Moontide, it's got a pretty good variation and i haven't got any other epics yet. I still win a lot of my battles though, probably 4/5.

It's probably the case. If Gree makes the wars more frequent then guilds will start to choose which wars to try for a top 10 and which ones to not bother with. That way the epics get spread around...

I think they need to keep misses. Without them, the game would just be maths. At least when random critical hits or misses are involved it produces some randomness to the nature of battles.

This. I paid 77 gems to get Phyrus+ and I've hit 43 on the next 2 out of 3 bosses.

It's not that much less, I'm pretty sure initially a mistake was made on the spreadsheet saying it had like 1250 defence when it actually has about 1550.

I just hit level 43 tonight! It's the first time I've managed it, and even then I had a couple of days of not fighting it much. I think the next boss will be a lot tougher though so I can't imagine...

Yup, luckily my armors were level 35 and 26, so Blazeborn started at 31 which was a big boost! I've got it up to around 45 and I'm already starting to struggle.

How do we calculate the max stats for an armor?

I think the quality of the rewards is really good, but like a few people said it would have been nice if they mixed up a little and added a bit more variety to the armors you get.
