Update on removed gems from Arena and Epic Boss milestones

Dear players,

Upon the removal of gems and energy from PVP and Epic Boss milestones, we received several uncomprehending and angry replies from players. We believe that we did not make clear enough on what the actual issue was that prompted our action and have decided to give you a bit more context.

Before we get into it, let us get some of the obvious things out of the way. No, we did not spring a devious plan to force people into spending more on gems by removing the gems from those milestones. In actuality, we will be giving out some free gems every week until the issue is fixed and upgraded the rewards of those milestones overall to soften the blow.

Different from what some people assume, the issue was not that people were able to get the gems from the milestones for free. A cheat/glitch allowed people to gain access to essentially an unlimited amount of gems from the milestones, which were then used in other events to gain an unfair advantage. As the issue was not a simple one to fix, we needed to devote an entire development cycle to it while applying a bandaid fix to the events as described above.

We hope that we were able to shed some light on the situation and we will keep you updated once there is something new to report.
