Producer Letter #5 - 2017/10/11

Dear Knights,

We would like to give you another update on the various changes that we are currently making to rewards and events in general. We will keep it short as some of this has already been tackled recently but we want to make sure that everyone is aware of the latest developments.

First off, we heard you loud and clear that replacing a Blitz Raid Boss with a War was not a good decision so the first thing we want to get out there is that there will be a second Blitz Raid boss this month, on Monday October 23rd. Thanks to everyone who raised their voice on that matter! Here is the updated calendar for October:

The second important news on that topic is about the rewards and changes to the first Blitz Raid Boss. We have listened to the feedback your representatives have listed as well as the various posts on the public subreddit and have improved the rewards. On top of that, we have slightly adjusted the boss' stats so that it is slightly faster to reach the higher milestones, hence reducing the time spent on the actual event as that was one of the main feedback points.

We want to make it clear that this is just for the first Blitz Raid Boss of the month, it is very likely that we will be tweaking it again for the second one so if you want to see something changed, please leave a comment on the public subreddit. We do check everything that is posted on this subreddit on a daily basis, so this is the best way to reach us.

In other news, our development team is currently working on a fix to prevent cheaters from abusing rewards in the PvP & Epic Boss milestones, which means that we will have more options for prizing in these milestones once the fix in question goes live. While we would love to give you an exact date for that, it is always delicate to do so because of all the steps required before a fix can go live. Rest assured that we are doing our best to bring it to you as soon as possible! In the meantime, we will keep sending you Gems & Energy on a weekly basis, as we have been doing for the past two weeks. We are however going to release a small update before that, which will prevent cheaters from abusing the Heroic Mode leaderboard and will fix a bug that caused the “Update required” window to constantly pop up.

Lastly, we are still finalizing the revamping of recurrent Chance Chests. The content of the Heroic Loot Chest will be revisited for the next Heroic Mode event, while the permanent Champion’s Chest will also see its content revamped soon. These changes should contribute to making event rewards more valuable, as these chests can be opened with the keys obtained as rewards.

All of the above is aimed towards one goal: to bring out the best in KnD. We believe that a healthier competition combined with better rewards will make it much more enjoyable for everyone.
