It's pretty sad. He should enjoy his time with Daddy Bush and stop stressing him out.
I'm still waiting for Cruz to withdrawal, but it looks like he'll be wasting more money for a few more months.
Cruz is like a wildcard NFL team in the playoffs where all the top ranked teams have serious injuries hampering them. He might not be leading now, but he's in a very good position. You were wrong a couple months ago, and you're wrong now. There's a very good chance Cruz will end up being the nominee. It's really a question of whether when the actual votes start coming in people will want a total outsider (trump/carson/fiorina), a reformer (cruz/rubio) or an establishment insider (Bush/Kasich). I think Cruz is in the strongest position of the "reformer" group, which means he could easily become the front runner at any time. He's not dropping out any time soon.
The year isn't over (duh), so I'm not wrong now or yet :p
heh, fair enough, but I'll make you wait until Dec. 31st. Gloating can begin next year.
Happy Guy Fawkes Night!

Hey VL... If those people you messaged me about a couple weeks ago are still homeless, my syn apparently has some room now. PM me if you want to talk about it.
His name isn't even Jeb. Obama didn't pull a Prince and turn his into a symbol either.
All I can say is that it must be real depressing in Kennebunkport these days. I can see George Jr jabbing away at "JEB" about his failures,
Jeb's crying, George Jr is laughing, Pop is trying to get the boys to shoot at each other with the Red Ryder's he stuck in their stockings (mumbling drunkenly on Christmas Morning how it will make "leaders" out of them while forcing them out into the snow with his .45).
Meanwhile, Barb, yes good old Barb, the only one of the Bush Bunch arguably qualified to be President decides to try and help the servants make waffles.
Cruz is polling pretty well and Rubio seems to be an idiot. I might have to eat my words, although when the rubber hits the road, I think normal voters are almost as scared of Cruz as they are Trump.
Normal voters don't know anything about Cruz. CONGRESS is more scared of him than trump, though, which is why I like him.
Trump for President!!
Obama 4 third term
Someone needs to tell Jeb it's not happening.
Well, Gary Johnson just declared for the Libertarian Party, so once again I can vote with my conscious.
Conscience. Also... Lol.
How much money has he gone through on this campaign already? Maybe 200 million? LOL!
Rock on Jeb. Good luck trying to stump the Trump.

I don't think The Don ever planned on signing on the dotted line, but his little establishment attempt at curing voter apathy really has taken off. Imagine if he really decides to go for it and he's not just a puppet when he gets in?
That would be awesome.

I think Bush will hang around to the third caucus, whatever that is.
It don't matter though, American politricks are beyond rigged anyway. Whoever is chosen will get in.
Iowa was a joke, on both sides:
Hilary 6 coin tosses in a row - and the delegate decided on coin tosses, LOL!
Cruz saying Carson was pulling out, and sending out 'voter responsibility' mailers that looked like traffic citations
90 Dem precincts not reporting their tallies
RUBIO OUT OF NOWHERE! THANKS MICROSOFT!!
Coke or Pepsi will be the choices when it is all said and done. Trump sucked me in again, but after Iowa, it all came rushing back to me.
The system is broken beyond repair.
R.I.P.....
Yup! Bush threw in the towel! Soooooo...
Who is next to go?
Probably not Cruz or Rubio.
Political analysts don't think Crus or Rubio have much of a chance in Texas against Trump. Idk much about Rubio, but Cruz is not very popular here... After losing once, Cruz finally won his seat by being the lesser of two evils.
Carson's gotta be the next one out.
Carson should have been out caucuses ago. Kasich, sadly, may be out after March 1st. He appears to be the only sane one left. I think Rubio will pull away from Cruz, even though he is an absentee empty suit that only remembers talking points. Cruz has an eminently punchable face. He runs a dirty campaign, in spite of the smoke show of the recent firing. Most in the party are falling in behind Rubio, where most the Jeb money is going. All those people who said Obama was unqualified when he took office are now going to have to admit hypocrisy.
To me, the only question is whether the GOP figures out that Trump is going to win while they still have time to prevent it. They behaving like they haven't figured it out yet.
There aren't enough millennials and people believing everything is free to boost Sanders into the nomination. I predict either Trump vs Hillary or Rubio vs Hillary at this point. Not much of a stretch, I suppose.
As much of a trainwreck as this has been, it has been fascinating as well. It is very clear there is nobody in charge over in GOP land. When you field 17 candidates, you pave the road for the Trumps and the Cruzes to do well, both candidates that they are scared to death of.
You do realize Cruz is leading in Texas by about six points, and trump has underperformed his poll numbers in every state so far. Do you even pay attention or just hate Cruz and make stuff up?
Max: you're right... No ones in charge. Candidates campaign and voters vote. What would you prefer... A system where a bunch of party insiders get together and make sure the "right" candidate gets the most delegates despite losing the primary?
uh huh... that's why Cruz is doing so well, eh? Cruz couldn't even beat Rubio in Nevada. I'm sure that mystified Camp Cruz.
Meh, I don't seriously pay attention or hate Cruz enough to make up anything. I just repeated what the political analyst said on GMA yesterday morning. This morning they said Cruz will have to win Texas or it's the end for him. *shrugs*
Btw, I googled and now the polls say Cruz is up by eight points in Texas.
Good for him! Maybe he has a chance on Super Tuesday. ;)
Well, most of our great presidents have come through the system that way. It sounds worse on paper than it really is. There used to be at the very least, a consensus within each party that at least kept the number of candidates to a manageable size. 17 candidates is not a manageable size, hell, 7 is too many. The result is that most of what America learns of the candidates is sparsely available 30 second debate stage sound bytes. The perfect arena where the most outrageous statements get noticed, and sane people become invisible. If you want the most extreme candidates in your party to shine, this is the perfect formula. The top 3 that have survived are an carnival barker in Trump, an absentee empty suit in Rubio, and an obstructionist tea bagger in Cruz. Out of the hundreds of possible candidates in GOP, we have 3 that should be finishing in the bottom third.
That's what happens when you don't manage your house.
