Switching accounts step by step guide

Dear players,

It appears that some players are a bit confused about how to switch accounts in some specific cases so here are the steps to follow in different case scenarios.

If you only use one Google Account and need to link a new device to your game account, follow these steps.

Switching Game Accounts:

1. Reinstall the game.
2. When launching the game, accept the privacy policy and authorize / deny Google to access your pictures and contacts.
3. Once loading is complete, Google play will ask you to select a Google account to use. Please pay extra attention to which account you chose.
4. Accept to link the device to this Google account.
5. Chose between the different game accounts previously linked to this Google account.
6. In the settings of the game, tap the “manage accounts” menu.
7. Tap on “switch account” and select the account you want to use.

In case you use different Google Account but cannot find some of the game accounts usually linked to these various Google accounts, follow these steps.

Switching Google Play Accounts:

1. Launch the game.
2. Tap the Google Play icon on the game’s menu.
3. Chose the “sign out” option.
4. Tap the Google Play icon again.
5. Google Play will directly require you to chose a Google Play account to use.
6. Select the Google Play account you’d like to use. If you haven’t used yet on this device the account you want to select, tap “use another account”.
7. Log into the selected account.
8. Go to “manage accounts”. Beware, at that point, if you check the “switch account” menu, only the accounts already linked to this device will be displayed, no matter the Google Play account you just switched to. This is where most of the confusion comes from.
9. Tap on “Link Android Device” or “Link to different device” according to your wish.
10. Now the game checks your current Google Account, spots that it has been changed and request you to access it. Tap “yes” to change the Google Play Account linked to the device.
11. Tap on restart.
12. In “Manage Accounts” and “Switch accounts” you can now see the full list of accounts linked to this Google Play account, now linked to this device.
13. Every time you want to switch Google Play Accounts, please follow these steps from 1 to 12.
