I was a guild master of a successful guild In till one day I was asked to join another guild which I accidentally accepted. Being a guild master I had no idea that was even possible and now my sentnel has my master position which wouldn't be a problem but he has been inactive for a wile now and I don't think he will be back. If anyone one can offer advise on how to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

b) I think I once read that if a guild master has been inactive for a certain amount of time (I vaguely remember something like 3 weeks?) then you could send in a ticket to have GM position moved (not sure if to next in line or to a suggested player) https://games.gree-support.net/hc/en-us/requests/new
Inactive time is indeed 3 weeks. I was once a member of a guild where the guild master had been dormant for 3 MONTHS. I put in a ticket .. my only reply was an automated "how did we do" mail .. 3 weeks after the initial ticket. I replied to that email AND put in a second ticket .. I'm still waiting for a reply to either of those .. from February 2014.
I sincerely hope your quest is more successful than mine. I made my own guild in March of 2014.

Unless they've changed it, your guild will need to wait at least 2 weeks for the new leader to be inactive (no log in's) before they will reassign leadership to the next most senior member, whoever has been in the guild the longest time. Unfortunately, they will not let you choose the new leader.
Hopefully, the newly assigned leader is an active and trusted guild mate who is willing to transfer leadership to you. If not, well, you & your guild might be in a troubled spot, but let's think positive!... After the waiting period, you'll get a new leader and that new leader will transfer it to you, and you all can be back to crushing rival guilds!
