Broken ad videos - update and compensation!

We would like to share with you a status update regarding the broken bingo ad video that some of you got familiar with lately. From the 20th of June to the 1st of July, we faced issues with this specific video ad and some players could not get their rewards despite watching this video to the end.

This issue has been fixed and the ad fully removed from the ones offered to players on the 1st of July.

Over the last week, we have been investigating the data to work on some sort of compensation. Sadly, we have little control on to which ad is shown to the players. We also have limited data to track who saw which ad.

It is important to note that on our side, we only receive data and revenue when the confirmation of a completed ad is sent to our system. This means we are also heavily impacted by broken ads as we can't directly see records of the failed video nor do we get any benefit out of it

So far, we have not found sufficient data to shape a satisfying form of compensation but we are still evaluating different options.

For these reasons, as a form of compensation, we will increase the gems available in the offer wall by 50% for the rest of the month. Offer walls are a much more reliable form of granting gems based on player triggered actions that proved to deliver more quality than video ads.
