Transfer to another Device to Start new Game

I have been playing MW on my iPad for a few days but want to start over. This is my idea, let me know if it will work. I downloaded MW on my iPhone just now and started a new identity and have begun the game. If I transfer that new game to my iPad would that allow me to play that new identity from that point on? What would happen to my original(iPad) identity? Do I need to transfer my original (iPad) identity to yet another device(I do have another iPhone that I could use for that purpose).
