BfEC issues and test event

Dear players,

This past weekend event brought a lot of justified critics as, on top of performance issues, a lot of issues appeared with matchmaking, scoring, hitting, immunity time, Fake Wars, etc.

First of all, we would like to apologize for these issues and we will look into the correct form of compensation.

Most importantly we spotted the source of most of these problems which are related to tracking queries running in the background of the game and added in the past few weeks.

We will therefor run a 24h test event this week, starting tomorrow (the 8th of July) at 6PM PDT where these queries have been disabled. This test event will be used to verify if the issues in regards to matchmaking, scoring and hitting targets are then resolved. As with every test event, there will be no bonuses there but there will be a Thug Token.

Another test event might also take place next week with further database optimization too.

We also received a lot of feedback, suggestions and ideas from the community to improve performance and we will be giving more feedback about this in the coming days and hopefully implement some of these ideas very soon.
