What's changed since 2012?

Looks like I haven't played since 2012/early 2013. I'm waiting for Gree to hopefully move my previous game to my tablet and in the meantime wouldn't mind a brief tutorial on what's changed since then.

Last few changes I saw were Scratch cards and Boss events on Android.

Any knowledge would be appreciated, thanks :)

Been there, done that. Good point and not sure why I'm doing it again. But, I didn't spend any money on it previously, just made sure to use the ads. No idea if that's still an option.

You'll need to get in a decent syndicate as soon as possible if you want to compete as well

This is pretty much the major change, I started playing back in 2011 and quit right before the syndicate thing took over. Came back a few months ago, and found that syndicates in general have changed the game completely

unless your old account is really really low level or has good iph(millions) then start a new one

IPH was quite good if I recall, I was in thebillionaire's list at the time, but no idea how it would compare to now.

Let's see, my stats in jan 2013 were 57k/52k
My stats today are 30m/26m. You should have no trouble surviving. Lol

Decided to start from scratch. I remember camping my IOS acct where my Android account had decent IPH at the time it was leveled too quickly.

Anyway, any suggestions on picking a syndicate? I haven't read up on it at this point but I can't imagine that I'd be a desirable team member at this point starting from nothing. Do I need to bother right off? Again, I still have to look up what exactly a syndicate is in this...
