Kill monsters, they drop orbs. Drop rate is poor.
It's a very poor drop rate as far as I can see, not getting many at all.
I got only 2 in my entire play

The orbs will be used in the forthcoming raid boss quest.
They have just all vanished and replaced with 'coming soon'....
The raid boss event should start this war so they ended the orb gathering period since it starts so soon I guess

I'd say the drop rate I'm getting is about 1 in 25 - 30 monsters killed.
So you need to be questing your @$$ of to have enough in the next raid boss event.
Last Raid Boss you could also buy orbs with honor, can't remember the exchange rate, only that is wasn't very inviting to do so.

pretty much find doing anything in the game makes them appear and they disappear at the end of the event.

i have found lots of orbs, this does vary, current count is over 100, found for me if you do quests or kill monsters in higher areas drop rate is a bit better, this does change from event to event
Just buy orbs with honor.
