I don't use gold on events. Out of all the events, I'm still at 0.

This past event I spent 70.00 on gold to get the Devil's Take Down.
Never used gold on any events. Got the gun this time round, got the tenth painting on the very last open I could have done. All other times I've gotten to 8 or 9 out of ten quickly and just been stuck like that for the rest of the event. This last event I played almost 24/7, without sleep where my eyes would comply and even still only just managed to get the tenth on my last chance to open.
i used 990 worth of gold and i got the final item.
Only 75 gold trying for that last painting, one of which is because I dropped my phone and hit the gold button when I caught the phone, would have been awesome if that catch/gold button was the tenth! But no, zero zilch nada for me.
Nope and nope.
Spent gold during 3 of the previous 5 events and ended up with nada.

300 exactly, got the gun
Started using 360 gold when I was stuck on 6, ran out of gold at 9 and the 10th fell in using cash, so yes & yes
Used cash otpion till I got 8 paintings
switched to Gold - used 225 gold - got NO paintings
switched back to cash and never got past 8
I usually at least get the 2nd to last item - never have gotten the final on any event BUT will not use gold on any future events..............
Between 250-300 gold and only got 9. Have used gold in every event but have only gotten the Loaded Dice. You would think I would learn my lesson.

Got the gun using middle option all the way
Got to 6 by day two using the cash option, spent between 300 and 400 gold and got it by day 4. Seems (IMHO) that the longer the event drags on, the harder it is to get the last two.
240 gold to reset and open in the last hour. no gun
I've used gold for 3 events and am 1/3. I got the loaded dice by using gold for every opening starting from the beginning (used roughly 400-500 gold). For the Bank Buster and Devil's Take Down I only used gold for guaranteed openings after I had already reached 8/10 paintings/credit cards. I believe I used around 500 for the bank buster and used 675 gold for the Devil's Take Down (finished 9/10 for both).
Used 60gold & cash option, got the gun! Got lucky, I think.
#1-8 came fast, no gold used, all cash
#9 took forever, used gold in between 8 & 9, but got 9th with cash with about 10 hours left
#10 looked pointless, but got it with cash! Shocking!
I didn't use gold and I got the Devil's Inquisition.
I used 870, 885 or 900 gold (my sheet is at home so i am not 100% sure which it was) and I used the reset option 9 times. I was ecstatic to have "only" spent this amount considering the Burner cost me 3500. I actually wanted the DTD more than the Burner so I went the AppleMacGuy strategy of opening from the very beginning.

I think that IF you decide to use gold on the events, you should be prepared to use at least 2000. Sometimes you get away with far less, sometimes you have to spend even more. But it's usually pointless to spend like 100-200 gold.
I got the gun spending 105 I was prepared to go to 240 but didn't have to. If it's an effect I don't care about about I won't really try that hard. I got lucky on the last 2 and I know it.
No gold - no gun. Got to 9 painting with about a day left but no final prize. Used only middle option on all events and only got the Bank Buster

I didn't spend gold and got the gun.
In MW got the Airplane, spend about 300 gold.
In the previous events (save 1) I didn't spend gold and got to 8/10 once and the rest 9/10.
i spent 720 gold and no gun used all goal to open the crates not to reset timer
I used gold to support the free player but no gun.
For some reason I wasn't sulking after the event like I was, when I did not get the bank buster.
Also my luck then was so bad during the credit card event that after the event I brought 5 crates and got 3 peace maker and 2 masks.
Wanted the hardened shotty

Burner got burned 1500 gold ( and didn't buy vaults so extra expensive)
Devils take down was expensive :p lmao ... but atleast I did it cause of pride and own will !
Not cause I had too ,muwhahhaa so I didn't feel dirty .
After getting the 9th painting(all cash opens) with 2.5 days left, it took me 38 gold opens(570 gold) and 3 timer resets(45 gold) to get the 10th painting.
No gold, no 10th items...

Yep and Nope. Was fun though. I can open an Enhanced Bike shop decorated in Carnival Sledgehammers across all 20 walls. To all who got the Devils Take Down, make sure you use that energy well but really well done getting it.
I have my Emerald Burner and Loaded Dice. For me that was good enough.
I used 750 gold but didn't get the gun. I ended up at 9 paintings. I went back to cash after using gold. The previous 2 events I got the 10th item with cash only. Because I'm supposed to get the "spinal tap" item for the name competition. I figured that I would buy a vault of gold and use up to half for the event after being stuck on 8 paintings for a few days & test some strategies. I'm not bitter but I won't use gold again for another event.
I got the Devil gun, happy obviously, but kinda worried that the accelerated energy refills are going to level me extremely quickly.
I don't purchase gold anymore under any circumstances. The gold I already spent was devalued with the bank buster (God Weapon, Proven). I don't trust these guys to watch out for the balance of the game.
I would trade my Devil for Dice any day! I never thought I would get the end prize, so never tried that hard... Except for the Dice & no Dice. Once I got the Bank Buster, the event before the last one, I feel like it is possible! But not likely to happen again. When is the next event? lol, JK!
