I believe it's temp data so that your hood and maps load quicker. It is a bit ridiculous.

No, it's data from various hoods, etc. It grows (rapidly) over time. And resets (with no change in graphics) when you clear it out.
I unfortunately clicked on 'finish now' upgrading button when collecting and it used more than 200 gold out of the 500 I had. I only bought once gold and I'm not a spender at all otherwise so that gold was important to me.
I alread sent a ticket to Gree about it....anybody had that problem and knows if I could possibly get the gold back?
That happened to me once before. They gave me a courtesy one time refund. I'm now more careful when pressing on my iPhone ;)
Edit: a good feature would be an "are you sure" button for speeding up buildings. I would ow many tickets like yours (and mine) would be eliminated.

My Android tablet seems to be on it's last legs (the power port connection has become very slack so it is almost impossible to charge it up). I've read/heard of Apple users having nighmares because the Funzio ID transfer route doesn't work anymore.
My question is in 2 parts:
1. Does the simple transfer between 2 Android devices still work OK using the Funzio ID?
2. In case of emergency..........could I transfer my account from my failing Android tablet to Bluestacks Android on my laptop? This would be a 'holding' tactic until I could acquire a new device and move the account on again.

seansheep I am also curious about the Funzio ID transfer method but for iOS. I'm not sure about Android but the Funzio ID button was removed from the iOS app a few months ago and just recently reappeared.
I requested some guidance in the following thread about acct transfers, you might want to check there in case it gets a response before your question above, as it's something that can really only be addressed by the devs:
