How do i use the syndicate. It appeared one day but can't figure out how to use it and how to invite my mafia to it

I need help understanding the new syndicate thing. I started a syndicate got some people to join have
started buying bonuses and hideouts but idk what to do now how do I declare war on other syndicates
I read the help about needed to nominate a defense leader but idk how do do that I can't find any options
or anything to do it im very confused and need help pls reply asap with what to do. Thanks

All this will follow once syndicates are set up. Right now, all you can do is establish and upgrade your syndicate. They released it now so you're prepared for when the events come.
