The latest update to MW hasn't been released yet. From what I have seen, v4.2 of MW is supposed to fix the issue. AGAIN, something that should have been picked up in QA prior to release. To me it just seems like there is a laid back attitude to the development and it's released even with issues.Quote:

Well bugger me!!! I was wondering why I was going through crazy amounts of data, I am on a prepaid plan, so I'm buying data packs etc. just seen this thread and thought that id better check my data usage, in a little over 1 MONTH I'm at almost 2gigs on modern war.... WTF, first I get screwed with an increased price for gold purchases (which I now refuse to buy) and now I'm coping huge data fees for an iPhone app!! Time to find something else to do with my spare time I guess.
I will give you an idea of how much data it is consuming me. I play in both Wifi and off Cellular service (while at work). 2 months I have increased my plan to deal with the data usage. My usage already (and only 17 days into the billing cycle), I'm at 7.7gb data usage! Now, out of that usage, about 7.2gb is MW only! Stupid when I can sit there and play Clash of Clans for about 30 minutes and it only takes up around 182k of data usage and MW is a few hundred megs. If it isn't fixed soon I will cease playing MW altogether and go over to CoC completely.Quote:

Another GB overage charge yesterday, and another today. We didn't ask for an exact date, we want an estimate mate, not open ended.
and I will settle for Gold to reimburse me for my data overage charges, and can submit receipts!!!
During war last weekend between 2 people playing on the wifi we used up well over 10 GB. That is just ridiculous to use over half my data in 3 days which used to last all month and have some left over. Now 9 days into the new cycle we have used up all 20 GB of our data. That means that's a wrap for me on MW until next month
its the weekend guys. the bus drives itself on weekends
