2.3 in 4 hours of raiding :/
Almost 30 days now since this was brought to Gree's attention. I thought there was plan to fix this with the soon to be releases client update? They supposedly fixed the problem in CC.
Still just waiting .........
FYI, Apple is investigating Gree because of all of complaints and refund requests. This may be delaying any update they are trying to release to resolve this issue.
Gree isn't being investigated that's a bunch of malarkey.
They just suck as a company.
MW and CC does use a bit of data but isn't that bad, less than 100MB per month each for me. BUT, the other game I play with wizards, goblins & clan castles used 11MB in the same time period and I play that game ALOT more.
Could it be the free videos people are watching?
Don't watch free vids on 4g. Data is still outta control
30 days for this thread. It was May 12th when I first got hit and the 15th when I opened my ticket and mentioned it in faction chat with FromAfar.
Got excited when I got home and saw update notification in the app store. Got my hopes up....but only Candy Crush and YouTube. Alas, there was no four two two in whoville. Bc GREE's heart is three sizes too small.

As stated previously in this thread, a fix is in the works and will be out with the next major update. Unfortunately, we cannot give you an exact date on when this update will occur. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.
This should have never taken this long to fix. This is a MASSIVE data bleed. This is the kind of thing that gets apps banned from iTunes. Verizon sent me an email about Modern War, telling me to stop using it. Unbelievable that we still have to wait for this to be fixed. What's Gree's intention of reimbursing us for blowing up our data plan? Maybe iTunes can help us since we're not getting anywhere here. Others in my faction have been banned from using work wifi because of MW data bleed. They've blocked the app altogether. It's been 30 days already, no one is patient anymore.
Gree where are youse on this?. Update us now.
This is not an update. We already know nothing and looky here. Nothing. What in game function is causing the data bleed so we can at least try to work around it. I used more than 9gb of data last month. Is it ads?. It's it server syncing and there is nothing we can do?. Is it constantly reloading temp files?. Let us know what you guys know. Cost me over $100.00 so far

Yes but soon was also mentioned and it certainly hasnt been that. Though you have fixed issues that effect you quickly enough.
I think we all know the answer to that one.
There is no fix, they aren't doing anything about it. Tadaah is spewing garbage to try and ease everyone up.

If you feel gree's action on this issue has been soon enough then its all good. personally I wouldn't call 'something over a week' in this instance 'soon' but if you choose to define 'soon' as 'any time within the next 150 years' you're more than welcome to. So I guess that means we dont need another post from you anytime soon(by your def or even gree's)

Just hit the boss once and the data usage was 15 MB. Spent 200 MB in a very short period this morning. How much we will spend due to exceeding data limit! Please fix and please fix now.
I think it have to do with raid boss,
other events I don't have this problem...

Awesome - used 1.1g of data in 2 days with this game... Guess I'll be a wifi only player now... Forget buying anymore gold. Ridiculous.

Two and a half days into my new billing cycle and I'm already over two gigs. Sorry Gree, can't have this. App deleted, working on complaint to iTunes now.

And what would you complain to iTunes about. I'm using an app that accesses the internet. Most ignorant thing I have ever heard. Like they care an app uses the internet. There is no restriction or law that says there is a max that an app or program can use the internet. Your cellular carrier thanks you for your business
