My good luck turned to bad luck again and I cant get another scarabs with my 4 opens, all loots
I can't believe it. After all my *****ing and complaining and not getting a single Scarab in 48+ hours, I now just got 3 scarabs in a row. Weird, but I can't complain by any means (hard to believe, I know). It could just be luck, or maybe the gods of chance decided to throw me a bone. I'm now at 9 scarabs, so I can most likely at least get the 10 unit.
Still think the medium chance option should be relabeled to be accurate, but I'm grateful I'm so close to 10.
Yeah, I'm the guy who's bipolar when it comes to box events. ;)
I had the same thing come up, Irish. Grumbling to myself about not getting some scarabs, and got 3 out of the next 4 openings (or close enough to that) and I too am now at 9. :)
Similar situation here...The first few hours of the event I got a lot of scarabs and I even got to top 250...I am stuck at 13 and the last 48 hours have been terrible and by now I will be really lucky if I get to 20 be the end the event...Quote:

I'm sick of these events, because I open a ton of them and EVERYONE on this message board ALWAYS have WAY more than I do. I wouldn't mind if I wasn't getting the WORST amount of these on EVERY SINGLE EVENT!
I have hit a wall also, been stuck on 14 for a good while now. My hopes for 20 are starting to dwindle

I made it to 10 just now also. Went 48 hours without a single Scarab, then got 4 out of 7 open attempts with gold. I'll try for 15, but I'm just glad I got the 10 unit.Quote:

so open rate for gem player is 182/598 = 30%
top 10 on the leaderboard are high level players except the diablo, level 47. :-)

Been getting a lot of Gold instead of Scarabs which I don't mind. I need to level up my breeding den....more than getting a lowly "Sand Stalker". I have 7 Scarabs all Gold options.
I currently have 108 boxes :)...mainly for decoration purposes, because after 12 "sorry" in a row I manage to open 1, at this rate I will need to do OT for the rest of the year to open (if luck) the 108 I still haveQuote:

I got my tenth today. 6 attempts after have yielded about 100 HP and 12k gold, with several apologies in between. Hoping against hope Lady Luck send me more luck, so I can beat my last event and make it to 15. If so, I'm going to try out some OT and get to 20. :)

Just about gathered 10. The luck that served me so well during the elixir event has flown completely :)

Sorry for the noob question, but I understand you can continue to try for the box units in OT, but I assume that this does NOT extend to qualifying for the Top 250 and above units. Is this correct?

Well, I've only used the middle gold option this time and my assumptions are confirmed. I've only received 10 scarabs this time around and my third go in these events. Every hour I've attempted with less success than in past events.
Sooner or later people need to realize that thy set this up for people to spend up big. Don't spend up and they will be forced to make it gamer friendly. Simple really!

I really like this game, but the BS odds are getting really old. The 9's on the Events, the fact that my chances of winning go WAY DOWN when I am trying to get the last PVP in the Tournament rounds and the fact that I lose FAR MORE "Low Casualty Rate" items than medium or high is making this game very difficult to completely embrace.
I was stupid and bought gems for the beat the knight event. NEVER AGAIN. I will not be ruled by stupid algorithms that are meant for only one thing - separating me from my REAL money.
