Give us something to prevent or help alleviate the constant leeches every war. Score tracking, name locking, minimum points for rewards, etc.
1) an ingame PM system would be very helpful
2) activity counter on players ( eg. last login XX hours / XX days ago )
3) More guild management features ( eg. edit messages / buy guardians / upgrade guardians etc )
Some flexibility with inactive guildleaders, something to resolve/appoint a new one without having to ditch a guild and start/find a new one.
Could do with an option to drop quests.. for non-gemspenders it's kinda impossible to get the quests done like 20 wins streaks..
Do something about the arena algorithm of who our opponents will be. I have decided that every person not in my guild has 3 epics maxed out because of who I have to battle and I am in the 7,000s.
I love this game, and spend a lot of time playing it, but it's hard (read: basically impossible) to get the most out of it without dishing out hundreds of dollars that many people (read : this broke college kid) don't have. I would gladly pay a flat rate for the game of there were some way to get gems at a rate that is actually usable for anything. The free offers are Crap, I don't want junk on my phone. Even if there was the option to pay $X and then be able to trade in gold for gems... Or make more of the normal use things gold instead of gems.
I enjoy this game, but I'd enjoy it more if I actually had the option to, ya know, heal my party when the epic boss kills me, or upgrade my building to the next level. As is, is built for epic players with loads of cash, and not the casual player. I guarantee you have a lot of those though, and perhaps they will back me up with this idea.
In fairness to gree they have made it easier to get more free gems if you are willing to put the effort in. Arena and EB rewards are much better than they used to be. To get gems in these you don't need to spend cash just put in the effort. In arena make sure that you let the timer run down as much as possible before initiating your next fight. Doing it this way you get a 9 streak if you are strong enough. This gives you enhance fodder and also gives extra points towards the milestones. Also make sure you battle all your friends each day to get an extra 1000+ points. Yes it's tedious and time consuming but if you want to get free gems and keys this is a good way to do it.
This is more of a "Quality of Life" suggestion, but an option to quickly repeat a stage would be nice. Currently, if you want to repeat a stage, you need to-
1) Click Accept from the Reward Screen
2) Click on the Stage
3) Click on the Difficulty
4) Click Next on the Knight selection
5) Click Next on the Friend Screen
6) Click Start
I propose an additional button on the Reward Screen called "Repeat" or something similar, which will basically skip the next five steps and go straight to the Stage again with the same previous settings.
If a Friend-Knight was previously selected, a warning screen will appear to inform the Player that said Friend-Knight(s) will drop out and asks whether he/she wishes to continue. If the Player chooses "Yes", proceed to the start of the Stage. If the Player choose "No", the game will go the Friend Screen.
This will greatly streamline the farming process.

I would like to see the clocks for the energy (arena, epic boss and war) to use the "hour:minute:second" format, instead of two seperate formats.

I have a few suggestions:
1. Make health pots purchasable. Would be nice in lower levels.
2. Fix the matchups in arena for lvl 100s+. Getting setup against way stronger opponents early, in round 2-3, no matter the elements makes me NOT spend gems. I dont know exactly how the matchup system works but it should be scaled on knights total att/def so the matchup is as fair as possible.
3. Stack armors of the same kind. This will make it easier for players having 100+ armors in inventory.
4. Add additional stats to epics and legendaries. Example:
a. Defensive armor: tectonic gives 125 extra hp to wearer and reduces incoming damage with 5%. Plus version gives 200 hp and 10% dmg reduction and gives a 4% to ignore damage. In adventure gives a 1% chance for a fusion stone drop from any creature
b. Offensive armor: Blazeborne gives 7% extra crit chance and a 2% chance to attack twice. Plus version gives 10% crit chance and 3% chance to attack twice and a 2% to kill opponent no matter the dmg output. In adventure gives a 1% for extra arena energy drop from any creature.
c. Balanced armor: Beastmaster gives 8% increased dmg, 15% reduced incoming damage if having element advantage when attacked. Plus version retaliates when attacked with 10% of dmg taken when having elemental advantage. In adventure gives a 1% chance to drop an extra epic boss energy from any creature.
The examples are not for every armor. Every armor has it own special features meaning that many armors can still be good despite having att/def disadvantage.
5. Add a very small chance of every last creature in every stage (not only boss) to drop a fusion stone, extra material, health pot.
Adventure drops in 4 and 5 should increase the higher you fight. The chance for a drop is way higher in haunted citadel compared to skeleton tombs where the chance would be very slim.
6. Daily reward: 2 arena energy is added in the background. If i have used all energy i can still refill to my normal 5 + have the reward, 7 total energy. Dont ćunish the active players.
7. Increase gold rewards in chests and from daily reward.
8. Increase gem reward from chest and daily reward. Getting 1 gem is meh.
9. Combining the same armors gives a minor chance to get plus version. For example fusing 2 beastmaster gives a 5% chance of plus version. You are guaranteed to get the normal version with highest level as a result if plus fails. Cost 25 fusion stones and 750000 gold. Prices should obviously be lower if the armors are rare, super rare, ultra rare and legendary.
10. Make fusion stones purchasable, i cant see u making any money on silver and gold chests.
11. Add new armors for the story part so that ultra rares scale with current eb armors. Gives people a reason to advance and farm.
12. Add new hard content for 100+ players where we can farm mats to craft legendaries, say 3-4 new armors sets.
13. Give us an opportunity to setup a defensive armor set and an offensive armor set in guild wars. Changing in one does not effect the other.
14. Add the arena clock to the arena icon so we easier can see the countdown while doing other stuff ingame. Realise that we dont use more gems just because the timer went to 0, if anything it has the opposite effect. I get less tempted to use gems for energy if I just lost my win streak.
15. Fix the different ribbons rewards in arena. No gems in H and C is just stupid.
