I have a idea that you can try to see if it works,but this is just my opinion ...
If you have your game in iCloud backed up from before than delete this version and get that one from your icloud account ,in iCloud you should have all apps and pics backed up,try to get that earlier update of the game..

This is just a temporary solution till they fix the new update..
My response from support was that there was no problem! That it was my fault for having old data. When I sent a screen shot showing I had the most recent data update. They stopped responding and it has been crickets chirping since then. The problems keep magnifying and every time I try to do something else, vault, build, LTQ, crate, boss, raid, check stats, I discover a new problem. I know from past experience YOU MUST DOCUMENT EVERY ISSUE or else Gree says you have no claim. Most recently my faction suffered and issue with the boss event and those that filed complaints were compensated. Those that chose NOT to file complaints because it was a faction issue and didn't want to overload customer service were told NO LUCK unless you filed a complaint. I will hence forth document every single issue I come across in the game.
Now, could you please give us a meaningful update on the problem many of us are facing here?

I just checked app usage in my iPad system and it's showing a whopping 2.0 GB of space used for the app and docs for V4.5 with 88mb for the app size. On another non updated iPod 4th gen device V4.4 app size is 84.4 mb and uses 'only' 1.4 gb for docs and data.
On my iPad MW is using more resources than any other installed app!
Please make sure the devs don't activate the lockdown that requires the latest version of the app. Also given how bloated this is becoming I don't think it is a good idea to roll this out for Android as it will prevent those using phones with limited memory from loading and playing. It's already bad enough on one device which runs out of internal memory and cannot load and display half the buildings on the base.
I've lost a lot of bonus on my main and all stats in my second account.
My inventory is ok but my stats are at 0....
it's frustrating on seeing that you can't manage properly this game.. always new features and no old problems fixed.... come on GREE! it's time to look for other and better employes!
Sure android update is out and no known issues.

I was so angry with the unplayability that i threw my ipad on the ground. I picked it up and phew! it didn't break. Then i saw the MW app and got angry again and would have thrown the ipad onto the floor a second time but didn't. I deleted MW instead and didn't feel angry again. Well that was easy, tackled the root of my anger and problem solved! Although i still have more than 20000 gold left, no way is MW going into my device again. Good luck all, cheers and out.
You guys are all bent out of shape over an update that doesn't work. No biggie. Gree will issue another update to fix the problems. It takes time cause everything has to be put through Apple for their approval. My device did the auto update and some things on my game doesn't work, but that's no reason to come here and raise all billy h.ell about it. It's not going to make the technicians work any faster to get it resolved.

Tadah shows here that they have the app not under control anymore ! Lets involve apple now folks! Take SS of the update with warning and you acc with the bugs and fails! Ask for refund about that gree launch a game and are not able to controll the app and fake ppl's ! Refund for 90 days should be possible for sure !
Step 1: Turn auto updates off now, so this never happens again,with this or any other app
Step 2: Always sync your device with iTunes right before doing an app update.
If you synced with iTunes recently before the update, do the following:
-Make sure auto updates is off
-Delete the MW app (your acct is tied to your device ID, not the game data stored on your phone. When you reinstall MW it will still be your acct unless you do a full device reset)
-Plug the device into the computer and connect to iTunes
-reinstall the old version of MW by dragging it onto your phone in iTunes. (iTunes should still be storing the old version from your recent sync)
If you look on your computer at your iTunes directory and sub folders you'll be able to find the MW app file. It's a good idea to manually copy this file to another backup directory after each update so you always have the ability to revert to the previous version when a new update comes out
I see the time has finally arrived that Gree's lack of competence has made the the game so unplayable with every failed fix and update!! My 2 accounts are done here, game no longer worth all the headaches and B.S. Thanks for helping me cut the cord!!
To those still stuck in this vicious cycle of the failed game, move on break the addiction there's more to life..
MW on my ipad is using 95.9 KB. Not the largest item on my device.
Mw on my iPad is taking 1.5 gb
Still no update from a mod today. Doesn't look good. Support just told me not to update, because that obviously hasn't already been done.

The issue has been clearly stated in this thread.
The solution is not as simple as 'flipping the fix-switch', and more importantly than that, Tadaah is not the problem-solver.
If you're going to quit because of an issue with MW, quit. If you're going to cry because this gigantic issue isn't fixed yet, cry...but please, don't think anyone wants to read the constant sob stories.
Yes, this is a huge problem. Let them fix it, or quit.
My Iphone automatically updated. My stats have been halved, my base has only a third of the buildings showing, nothing works and the game is constantly crashing. Submitted a ticket.

I don't remember anymore the last time an event or update was not flawed since Gree took over.Tickets are worthless as they are always closed and reply is being worked on or fixed.I just wanna play modern war not waste my time waiting for events to start late and then they fix them after they finally start!!
I agree wholeheartedly. Calling folks names doesn't resolve anything.
On another note, my iphone automatically updated too and I don't have all the issues you guys are having. I can still play my game, can still get to maps after a try or two, can still upgrade at least one building or buy expansion. I can still collect and spend my cash. I can still beat a boss and work on the ltq. I haven't noticed a huge drop in inventory or stats.
Give the techs time to get this fixed.
This is the only company I know who could roll out a product that suddenly causes 50% of their user base to not access limited content that the other 50% of the user base has access to and NOT DO A THING ABOUT IT. No suspension of current events, no communication about status of the fix. What did they all do, well as far as we know Tadaaah had dinner and got a good nights rest. Awesome. Where I work, if we have a problem this serious everyone works non stop in crisis mode until this gets fixed, we wouldn't have it any other way. They don't care and its such a shame. The only thing worse than than the bugged code this game is built on is the support that goes with it.

Haha...you see how much tgey care or try to fix it ! THE DAMAGED UPDATE IS STILL AVAILABLE IN APPSTORE !!! First sign how much they care about every ppl ! And it no big think to contact apple and delete the new update and pull the old back so that every ppl can play but GREE make no fails thats what tgey try to tell apple everytime to dont refund !!!!!
