Not sure if it's been answered on here yet, didn't see an answer for sure, but I think the bonus in the guild war is based on your guild rank. In the war last weekend I got a bonus when I beat a guild master (which is my rank) and I haven't noticed that bonus before this update.

Though the videos from the "cideo offers"mdo not give us gems :/
