I'm just curious, does "No Gold Forever" mean you don't spend gold on wars, or that none of your players have any inventory items that cost gold?
No Gold specifically refers to not spending real life money for in-game currency purchases. TJ gold is fair game.
Most members have gold buildings. I have 3 frosty's.
How each member spends their TJ gold is up to them. If a member wanted to spend it during war that would be ok. I don't think any have. With the limited amount of gold earned through TJ it would be a pretty poor return to use it in battle.
I have not checked every member for gold items in inventory. I imagine some will have a couple of crate items bought with tj gold. I have Agressor Blade which was a gold spend reward (I earned that one by purchasing my 3'rd frosty so that really worked out well)
So, in short it is not a total rejection of the gold currency; it is a dedication to be a free player.
What I'm trying to ask is if you'd reject a player that had clearly spent gold on their stats (e.g. 20+ limited explosives that cost 90 gold each, etc)?
We would not reject such a player. If you have spent gold in your past and now have decided to not spend gold anymore you would be considered.
Cool. I'll keep it in mind. I've still got quite a bit of a gold bonus left, but I'm going to switch to free play eventually. The rate at which GREE is putting on costly wars and events is just too much for me to support them any more.
Is this syndicate still open? I'm looking to step up syndicate, in my last war i was getting more points than even the leader himself who was like 50 levels over me.
I've done a few minor gold purchase during the events to get the good items, but I'm a free player normally.

Daily player and active fighter...very active in forums as well. I'm a long term camper and in it for the points when it comes to war...I work well with others and always try to help do what's best for the group. I've left my top 100 syndicate "Corleon Family Mafia" due to multiple high ranking members trying to run the show in ways that are upsetting everyone. There was a recent merger and all it did was cause problems within...somebody from a top 10 team has a camper in the group and is trying to warp them into the same thing...pushing for long time active members to be dropped and replaced with gold spenders. I think the game should be fun and enjoyable...not only about the numbers...and I'm seeking a good group of people that I can grow with. Thank you for your consideration :-)
