Anyone else find “Rainbow’s End” rather difficult to move? It took me a while to figure out I have to tap somewhere on the rainbow to even collect from or select the building, but when that magical spot is anywhere near other buildings all I can get is any building except Rainbow’s End. I just had to tear apart a whole section just so there would be nothing in the way of selecting that one building.
I’ve moved them off to the side now, where the magic button can hang over the blue void and I shouldn’t need to ever move them again, but this is a problem that seems pretty avoidable. Developers, whoever you are called, if you are reading this, please don’t do another design like Rainbow’s End. Thanks.

I love how big the stadium is. I hope we can we just have all the buildings excessively huge like this from now on. I’m tired of having enough space in my hood to place buildings and move things around when needed. It would be so much better with the added challenge of having to decide which buildings I’m not allowed to keep or which ones I’m not allowed to buy.

Sorry for technically going off topic here but I was looking at this just now and my interpretation is that boost applies only to construction of buildings in the alliance city syndicate base. Which makes me wonder what I have to do to unlock all those building slots. Ever since I built the first one of each building I haven’t had the option to build any more.Quote:

Yup. I wasted a bunch of resources on those boosts too before realizing they were a waste of time and resources.
And this new LTB is another stupidly large, odd-sized building, with lots of blank space that needlessly enlarges the footprint. And I can’t even select the thing while it’s under construction to move or sell it, or speed up construction. And that’s not to mention these huge buildings that occupy 90 to 100 squares should have from 4 to 10 or 11 times the cash payout as buildings that only occupy 9 to 25 squares, and they don’t. At least make these monstrosities worth having!

I'm sick and tired of having to sell and move **** around just to accomodate new buildings, and large buildings piss me off.
I'm only getting one of these new ones on my 2 oldest accts. Leaving what little space I'll make for future ones. This sucks. Deca gives zero ****s.

namedud: I couldn't agree with you more. The H&R def boost is absurd. When I did play, I kept a spreadsheet of boost idiots and got to know them easily by name, and refused to engage with them. If I didn't pound the event during the 1st 45 minutes, I didn't bother. The last few H&R's I didn't bother with, and I don't miss it.
And yes, yet another large footprint. So stupid.

I like that these two latest buildings have a more reasonable footprint (4x4). I dislike that they still appear to have “wasted” space all around them suggesting the footprints should have been even smaller (3x4).
Dear developers, the buildings do not need to have a social distancing space between them by design. If someone wants to space out their buildings they are already mostly free to do so. Spacing them out by design, leaving all these little strips of bare real estate that can’t be used because they aren’t actually bare spaces, will always be annoying regardless of the actual space occupied. At least until there are more hood expansions available or until an appropriate way of managing existing buildings without being forced to sell them is created.
The Pilgrim Hut is yet another example of a building that takes up twice as much real estate as it appears to actually require. It covers a 4x4 area and looks small enough to only need 2x4. It’s great to see the actual footprint is not absurdly huge, like those 10x10 monsters Deca seemed obsessed with for a bit. But it still sucks that the building takes up way more space than it obviously should.
And it’s boring af that the payout and collection cycles on limited buildings hasn’t changed in months.
Deca, there does not need to be empty blank space surrounding any buildings. Seriously.
This issue has persisted for so long that at this point if I were the art director at Deca the only way someone wouldn’t be getting fired would be if there were more hood expansions in the works.
