Analysis - can't complain! Seemed to come away with heaps of money, a good amount of valor, more than 20 units (which have never died on me) and 4 indestructible units.
Of course disappointed, but certainly not going to grumble. I wasn't attacked once after Day One and therefore didn't lose units, and due to that and the stack of cash I received, I built both space centers!
Have to say, though, next event I will go all out to the ninth item and then stop trying at that point; the tenth will always have to be an unexpected bonus.
You guys might not see me for a while - taking a well deserved break!
It was great to all way to the big price but to be honest I didn't expect I would get it. I carried on doing the same things I was doing before. I'm very close to get the amount I need for the second Nano. After that I can say I will slow down a bit. I hope you have a nice break.Quote:

Got 8 bars. Invested some gold bars(240) in the last 2 days to get at least on more nuke but nothing. Finished event with 194 crates unopened. I think the people who work at funzio are the ones who wrote the posts saying they found the 10th warhead. This was all a con so they could get a bunch of people to buy gold, they just put out a few good posts saying they struck it rich and everyone else gets excited and tries harder.
@major, participated in 4 events yet, 2 times at 9, one time at 8. entered with 9 to the last 15 minutes, bit the bullet, got 240 or so gold, used them to reset timer, and 6 minutes into the countdown, GOT IT :)
So, no, it IS possible to get the winner item, and it IS logical for only a few to get it, which makes it a prize :)
Yes, i am happy, but for previous 3 events, i didn't get the 10th bar to win the prize. thats the whole point of events, which actually hands out a 500+ gold unit for much much much cheaper, and at times for free

Well my son woke me up screaming for a bottle at 2:57am, 3 minutes before the end of the event so I thought to myself this must be an omen. So I popped one of the 16 boxes I still had remaining and to my surprise, no warhead...another unit. Then another unit when I woke up and opened the one box they allow to open after the event ends.
I wont sit here and whine about conspiracies like so many others, Ill just be thankful for the prizes Ive gathered during the events spending exactly 0.00 dollars on gold.
As long as I can get boxes and they open with frequency, then Im willing to overlook the obvious way in which the events are insidiously programmed .
What is not logical is the fact the warheads come fast and furious until you get 8 or 9...then seemingly become extinct.Quote:

My point exactly, it's rigged. 54 attempts after finding the 8th warhead with no luck. Before that 5 was my longest dry spell. Same as the last event. I am through with the events and don't even feel like looking at the game now. I don't like teasers - no matter who is doing them or what the result is.

All the events so far I ended up 9 out of 10..... I'm disappointed. Cant believe that I haven't even got the top prize even once... There are some definite flaws on these events..... I will not use gold on any of these events in the future until they fix the issues at hand. Better off buying crates with the gold. At least you will get something in return that is useable.
I hv to agree with u on this. I think they need to improve the odds. Every single event, people r getting depressed n angry. They felt cheated by funzio. It will serve them better if they increase the chance lil bit higher. Wow. That suggest that the odds are solely on the event day and not diminishing by nuke count per individual player, as has been suggest. The strategy would be to spend heavy the first two days on resets and lock up the prize early. Counter intuitive to do with days remaining.Quote:

Hello my forum peeps.
So I'm typing this up from my phone so please excuse any typos from my fat thumbs. I can't wait to go back and read some of the comments that everyone has made since the event ended. I have so many thoughts and emotions on this but I can't collect them all into any kind of clear and concise format. Bottom line is this, im really frustrated. And I'm not sure who to be upset with, funzio for making the odds nearly impossible to reach the final goals or me for falling for it each and every time.
I put so much damn time and effort into this event this time. I hit the boxes just about every hour regardless of what I was doing. I made significantly more attemps in this event than probably the three previous events combined. And yet, I still ended up with 8 nukes, about a dozen useless loot items some money maybe a half a million and maybe 900 valor. None of those prizes was worth me leveling up 6 times, losing sleep, stressing out, cussin out my innocent phone because it wont give me a god damn nuke. My wife thinks I'm absolutely insane because my alarm on my phone litter ally goes off every damn hour. I even got closer than I ever thought I would be to buy gold and then thankfully I read posts about people using thousands of good bars to open the crates and they still weren't at 10 and I was like, what's the damn point then. If they aren't getting them then I'm certainly not wasting my money on gold.
I don't know, I'm just at a loss that this is 4 straight events that I've been unable to attain the top prize and that just seems rediculous to me. People like me who are avid players, should have a good chance of getting to 10 nukes or plane parts or whatever part it will be next, if for no other reason than I play this game all damn day long. I'm always on this thing. Updating building, expanding, buying units, collecting money, doing missions, raiding allies, PARTICIPATING in stupid events and I am now sick and tired of the BS.
I am now reverting back to my previous strategy. Camp, level slow, build economy and celebrate those goals and milestones (like the fact I broke $300K hr income and built my first Nano) and ignore all future events and promotions from funzio. I was really close to investing in gold for the event, the crates and to add some money buildings to my bases in support of the game. But now, I'd rather waste my money on just about anything else, but tonight the money I was going to spend on good, is going to be spent on a fresh new bottle of Jack Daniels.
Congrats to everyone who succeeded in this event and good luck to those participating in upcoming events, I for one, won't be joining you.
Oh and a very special thank you to my girl Kitty for your wonderful and amazing gift on my birthday. I didn't get the chance to respond but I thought it was AWESOME that you sent me two nukes for my birthday haha

I took priests advice and gathered 6 boxes to try and open them after the event. Since i was stuck on 9 i figured its worth a shot. Only problem is i lost my wifi connection and the game reloaded. :(. I realy wanted that jet.

We did better this time out, Three of us made it to 9 warheads on the last day. I actually got my 9th about 8 hours after the game ended though I highly doubt I would have made 10. Also find that these things are too close together seems like there is no recovery time. Overall I think this event was a lot better than the last though.

I think it's an illusion, masked by the feelings one gets at achieving a little more in this event. Personally I think it's always going to be pretty much the same randomness for everyone; perhaps tweaked by funzio depending on gold sales. Somewhere in the Funzio algorithm i wonder if there's a clause that prevents someone winning too early(I surmise). It would be interesting to hear from anyone who won the tenth item from any of the last four events way earlier than the final day. Anyone get ten items on day one?
