Thanks. It's a tough question as I'm sure most people never use gold to hasten building upgrades until the Pagoda event when it became necessary.
So it should be a measly 12 gold to shorten the upgrade by an hour. Would be stupid not to spend that for a 400/450 item.

1) Now I got most of the free app deals and am sitting on 150 gold. Have 2 ice cream shops. This dynasty case questline has dropped on me and I currently have 1/10 with 17 hours left. I started with about 21 hours left afaik. Is it worth me spending gold to ensure I get the 1588/1300 gun? If not, what should I spend the gold on/save it up for?
2) I currently have 2 of nearly every money building available to me (excluding gas station, basketball court, techno club, gun shop, mansion, empire theater, barbershop, electronic store and t-shirt stand). Should I get any of those? And should I gradually upgrade all my current buildings or focus solely on tattoo parlours, houses and Italian restaurants?

Don't spend gold on the case event. The odds of getting 10th have been greatly increased and many free players are getting 10th.
Wait till last minute on case event. If you still didn't get 10th then spend the gold if you like but I think it's better to use it on the player upgrade to Goodfella.

It's 15 gold for a gold case open. 150 gold is nowhere near enough to ensure you get the gun with 9/10, let alone 1/10 (you're misunderstanding how the gold opens work, I presume: a gold open guarantees a "successful open", meaning you will get something-- cash, loot, or the "twin swords"-- it does not guarantee that you will get the twin swords needed for the item. In fact, the common slap in the face at high levels is to spend 15 gold for a gold case open, and receive $10k cash-- a terrible exchange rate! I don't know what the new odds are, but it used to be the case that you could spend an entire vault of gold (1500 gold) and STILL not get that 10th item (in this case, twin swords).Quote:

"Overtime" is when the event has technically ended (which I believe is something 15 hours from now), but you don't close your game or update or do anything that involves restarting your game. After 15 hours from now, it will say "Event Ends: SOON!", but so long as you don't close your game, you can keep opening cases every hour. Personally, I haven't been very lucky with this, as it's usually just a matter of time before my game crashes (and hence the end of "overtime"). Worth a shot, though. I have +70% to respect from fights. How is it possible to end up with just 1 respect from a fight? Even if I got 1 respect from the fight before bonus, if you add 1 + (0.70*1) shouldn't it at least round up to 2 respect at minimum for every win? What kind of math is being used here?
I'm also concerned my building collection bonus is not being calculated correctly. I have seen my building collection amounts fluctuate up and down recently without any changes to my stats or syndicate. Has anyone else experienced this?
T-Shirts to around 5 or 6 and then ice creams all the way. T shirts are awesome early on, they give you large bulk and they were what got me to my first MT. You should join a syndicate with 25% building output bonus so you can get more IPH.Quote:

2 Movie Theaters level 4
1 loft level 1
1 loft currently being built level 1
1 DominicanRestaurant level 3
1 DominicanRestaurant level 2
Which should I upgrade next? The lofts? The movie theaters? The 31 hours on the first loft upgrade looks pretty daunting compared to <24 hours on the other upgrades though. Movie Theater lvl 5 and Loft level 2 upgrades cost about the same (1.05 million) Thoughts?

Hi guys, today I gave my phone to someone to check the game out because he wants to start playing. When Igot my phone back and I opened the app I saw that one of my maxed out level 10 T-shirt Stand was gone. I asked him what happened and he told me that he had sold it by mistake because he double clicked the screen too quick. I've already sent Gree an email, but does anybody know if Gree can do something about it? I heard that they are able to replace the building.

Fairly certain that's just superstition. I'm all about maximizing the value of my gold, and what I've been doing in collect-10s has been using cash opens to start, and only switching to gold open (no timer resets) by the last 1-2 days depending on how many items I have at that point. The last collect-10 was ridiculously easy, and I went from 7 to 10 in just 3 gold opens. Probably could have held out on the gold opens if I wasn't afraid of having to use timer resets.Quote:
