It already is. We have a guy using the iOS 9 beta and it's working fine.
I'm using iOS 9 beta, not working for me.
The better question would be, which devices MW will orphan in order to be compliant with IOS 9.Quote:

In an ideal greeworld that would be the case, sadly it's far from an ideal greeworld with many older IOS devices locked out because of their inability to run newer releases of MW. Of course Apple isn't totally blameless as it also orphans devices by no longer providing OS updates.....Quote:

I would recommend not upgrading if you are on an iPhone 5. Unless something changes suddenly, and I would wait for a list of who actually got it to work..... Hint not in our stable....
MW and CC stopped working on about the third developer beta and hasn't worked since.
I did the iOS 9 upgrade on my 6plus phone early this afternoon. The game worked fine until about 10pm tonight. Now the game won't even load up. After about 10 seconds my phone goes back to its home screen
Exactly the Same issue here with iPad2.
iPhone 6 - updated to ios9
Got in a few times
Then suddenly can't get into MW - loading screen doesn't say "connecting to server" anymore. It just freezes and says "connection failed"
Come on Gree fix this issue!
Same here. Was working with no issues after upgrade to ios 9 on my iPad 2 until about 10pm EST. Please get this fixed ASAP!!!
This is the last straw with me and gree got iphone5 updated to ios 9 now modern war wont load whats the score gree??

Upgraded to iOS 9 last night and MW worked then and earlier this morning. But, now after 8:30am EST all of sudden it won't connect. Just get the 1st screen, but now words that it's even trying to connect to the servers. I've restarted phone, uninstalled and reinstalled game, tried on wifi network and 3G network (4s phone). :mad:
As suspected the release version of IOS 9 does not work however all IOS compatible devices in our group also stopped loading MW after the last server push and are locked out.
All other apps work fine, my guess, the 'fix' used to solve the airplane mode glitch is the root cause of this issue since I also suspected for a while that it is also the cause of the server disconnect issues which are also still happening.
So bottom line do not upgrade to IOS 9 as nothing up to our iPhone 6s no longer work! If you are on an iPhone 5 do not upgrade to IOS 9 as there is still a known issue with this phone.
If you have an Android device floating around now would be a very good time to link to it....
Is it only phones that are affected?
I trialled ios9 beta on my iPad and it worked occasionally before stopping altogether and it didn't show connecting to server but returned to home screen.
All of our iPhones and iPads fail to load MW, same issue we have seen in the past when we get a new IOS. I don't have a 5th gen iPod in the office at the moment but my guess since it is based on the iPhone 5 is that it will not work.Quote:

Mine just stopped working.
I was same way. Would pull up main screen then in about 10 sec go back to home screen on phone. Seems ok now. Been in all 4 accounts without issues. Except for bosses not showing up.
Update, uninstalled but couldn't reinstall, reboot and reinstalled and got data push now working.
Too much effort, next uninstall will be the last.

Worked fine, I tried to change accounts and am now locked out. Uninstalling & reinstalling doesn't help
