Well the probable reason is because in the App Store Minecraft costs seven bucks, and to be good in this game costs a hundred times more.
Got me playing Minecraft again. Thanks OP for reminding me of such a wonderful game that spurs creativity. Everyone should give it a try. Much more fruitful than this credit card swiping game :D
