View Full Version : Stripping and alliance

So, it is back, GM strips for alliance, spread, and invite them in.
Tell me if I miss anything, but the whole time you try opening chest, go through stages, leveling up, make your armors buff, be stronger and ultimately all you hope for is to hit someone with basic armors for the whole 3 days?
At the end of that 3 days, you get your epics (hurray!!!), you level it up again, have more variety, stronger, can't wait for the next 3 days events, just so that you can hit someone with basic armors, AGAIN? Doesn't that bore people out? Seriously, what is the point???
That's not enough. You are now stronger, you have a guild, recruit all the strong members, but you are....too fragile, afraid of loosing, so you have to make alliance with other guilds! What is the point of getting stronger so that you can hit weak armors. It is not even spotting the weakness, it is just asking your opponents to let you win. Is that what you get stronger for? If you are so afraid of loosing, then, are you really strong?
There's so much irony in what the alliances are doing and I find that ridiculous! Will you ever be strong enough to stand on your own feet or you will forever have to beg other GMs to strip?
Making alliance is killing the fun of the game. Alliances are nothing but a bunch of mindless zombies, threaten other guilds to turn into zombies too or will get eaten until they become ones. Soon, there will be nothing that is left and the zombies will have to feed upon each other.

If it ruins YOUR fun then make sure YOUR guild doesnt strip / isnt in an alliance. I love being in an alliance because line is more interesting then KnD lately and that has nothing to do with strip wars.

The only reason this game is being played, for most people that have been playing over a year, is because of alliances and Line. This game is dull and boring without either. Ask any vet, 80% of this game is played on Line, evolving alliances. Organizing, recruiting, preparing, dealing with drama, and whatever else. Stripping is the best strategy in the game, and does not occur every match, but I understand why some find it boring. Nontheless, alliances keep this game interesting, alive and well, fun.

The more alliances that there are, the less competition, and I can't find that any more interesting. With less possible outcome, wouldn't that become predictable and repetitive?

Wouldn't more alliances create more competition?
It just adds more to the game. I played this game for months running my own non alliance guild. It was very fun, we maxed the guild and did decently in wars. However, it got boring and I quit the game. A month later I started playing again with a new account and joined an alliance. Totally different game, having a blast again.

I'm confused with your statement.
Imagine you join a boxing competition. There you see your friends, so you make a pack of not hitting each other, just take turn to slip and stay down for 10 seconds, stay healthy so you can beat your next opponents.
Certainly it gives you more chance at success, but soon, you begin to BEG every opponent you meet for the same deal and make friends. No need to fight anymore, just take turn to win.
How is that making things interesting?

I've never begged or asked anyone outside the alliance to strip. If we face a non alliance guild, which is half the time if not more, we fight without stripping, we would never strip for anyone outside the team. That is where those fancy epics come in handy. This past war, I can count on two hands how many allies we faced.
MitDac
09-30-2014, 04:06 AM
Ok, so you don't beg (I don't know how you can become allies in the first place). You still think that in a boxing match of 100, you match fixing with your 10 friends is more interesting than if you don't know anyone at all and fight with your own strength?
geo81
09-30-2014, 04:11 AM
Okay, so you've never even been in an alliance guild, yet you have so much to say about them. Tell ya what, join one, then see if you have a different view. Stripping or not, doesn't matter, alliances are just more fun.

You found it boring before because you didn't get anywhere, you had less certainty of getting result, but now you have more chance, you suddenly find it more interesting, I understand that. Do I care about the result? Yes, but to a level that I abandon my principle? I think not.
A zombie and its group certainly have more chance of survival than a mere human, but I don't have to be one to find out how much fun it is.

Even going to toilet and wipe their asses, everyone has a certain way of doing it, let along a cell phone game that takes at least an hour each day to play...

You'll be playing (mostly on Line) way more than an hour in an alliance. I'm not trying to a ****, I'm just trying to inform you, your putting down alliances without ever trying one out. I enjoy the game, alliance or not, it's just being in an alliance is a different experience bubba

I completely forgot KnD is exactly the same as a boxing competition im sorry.
If this is a sling mud at alliances topic im out. Just wanted to say not all guilds in alliances strip and noone forces you to do anything. I enjoy the game in an alliance because its more social, rewarding and i like organising things. You like to be in a lone guild, thats fine too but it sounds like its some grudge youre holding against alliances and it seems very biased.

Nothing is exactly the same and nothing is completely different. That's just an example. Can you point out any guild that is allied and don't strip (if not strip, what is the point of being allies any way?)
Can you imagine if every guild now wants to do it your way, all join and be part of the allies, then who are you fighting against? What would be the point of getting your strong epics???
Healthy competition is the source of growth, anywhere anytime, and that applies to anything.

Yup, that's right! It is when the mighty GM (mostly) take of the armors, invite every members of your opponent over to have their way over him/her, willingly!

Stripping is great! You don't have to be level 100, you don't have to have epics, all you have to do is be willing to show up and use gems..... So basically you don't have to even play the game. You just jump straight from noob to top 25 player... Woohoo! Sounds fun right?

Thats why there are more alliances. And yes the immortals dont strip and were in a big alliance. Been t10/25 on numerous accounts too... guess not every alliance is the same and theres more healthy competition and unhealthy competition

Look at it this way. You have your guild which is your family and you fight together. Alliances are like one big family. We all help each other and fight against other big families. It creates more options and there are many people I have met and have become good friends with that I never would have without being in my alliance.
Did you see the crazy race for #1 this war?? That was history in this game that would have never been achieved without alliances.
Completely understand those who don't like alliances, but there are many good reasons we do like them :D

In most games (and real life), alliances are people who refuse to attack each other, and if someone gets into a war, they have friends who will join them even if the cause is silly.
In this game, an alliance is someone who will get naked, and bend over for you. am i missing anything?

Yeah. Stripping makes it easier to score more points per gem used and faster, creating lower costs for those making the runs.
Also, it is not only stripping. When most guilds draw a guild from an enemy alliance they use defensive tactics to try and limit their points (and raise their gem usage per point). So it is both offensive and defensive.

I am looking your way! I will treat every KnD players as family members and become friends with everyone. If everyone see it that way, then why do we fight? Why do we war? Why do we level up armors? All you need is gems, to have points on stripped GM.
We didn't make history. Gree made history. The price for #1 place and an epic plus has never been so high. Gree made history of having a best sale ever!

You don't like it? Then don't join one. Pretty simple. You just sound sour because your not included bud. No need to whine and moan about it, your way is better? Then beat em. Simple

Why are you repeating my point. Do I ask to join one?
If in my kids class, 40 out of 50 form alliances, pass around the solution during exam, and teachers let them, should I tell my kids to join them too? My kids may not get the highest mark, but they will have pride.

If it is a crappy message board, then.....why are you here?
Did I say it is not possible? Did I say that my guild cannot be in T20?
Have you ever voiced your opinion about something you don't agree with in life? If yes, then do you feel like a 5 years old whining? LOL

haha ok bud, you win. i guess all im really saying is that these alliances are part of the game. either join one, take pleasure in beating them, or quit. there is no point in getting as worked up as you are over a simple cell phone game. will a non alliance guild ever be number one? no. get over it, no ones forcing you to play. either enjoy it for what it is or move on, there are plenty of other games out there.

Haha, I think the ultimate winner will always be Gree, not you or me, or any of the alliances.
I find it interesting that people keep saying "Oh, it is just a mobile game, who cares" while in fact, everyone spend hours to level up, hours forming guilds, hours fighting wars, etc. I bet you don't even spend that much time thinking of what you are going to eat next meal, LOL. Not that I say people should get worked up, I'm just saying it is very interesting in what everyone saying about the "merely mobile game"!
Also interesting is how you trying to shut me up. I mean.....even if I don't play the game anymore, can I....still talk about it? Not that I am saying I should talk about it after I stop playing, I'm just saying it is very interesting in what you are saying.
I don't think the alliances would listen to me and stop what they are doing. I doubt that Gree would change anything based on my opinion either. Nevertheless, I find it very interesting in how people giving feedback and interaction with what I throw out there.
It would be very uninteresting in this World if we either do or don't and always shut up, don't you agree?

I am in an Alliance on android but my guild refuses to strip. My IOS guild also doesn't strip, even if we were in an alliance. We don't ask, or don't care if its another alliance guild or not. The rewards we earn are legit and we are proud of the fact that we can go T10, T25 or lay back in the weeds and relax any time we want and not depend on strips. (not saying anything wrong with strip battles) Strips are a part of the KND culture and will be a integral part of the game. It is still just a game......right?

Different strokes for different folks.
Our declare rooms are used 90% of the time to keep guilds on a rotating schedule so that we miss our allies. This allows us to fight fairly with other guilds using our armors and not have to wonder which guild will take the win and how it may upset others in said guilds.
We like the alliance because it's like a huge family. We aren't limited to the 40 people in our guild, rather we share a social experience with hundreds of people. This is an integral part of the community.
People may have come to KnD for the game itself, but the majority stay for the people :)

I started my guild from scratch a few months ago, and we got 51 in an epic war without an alliance. Then we joined SITH and now the game is completely different. I have met so many cool people that are fun to talk to and it just totally changes how everyone plays the game. If youre so anti alliance, maybe you just need to try being in one. as a matter of fact, it is your right to talk about it wether or not you play it. and its my bad for assuming you were worked up and angry, if in fact you weren't. My saying its just a mobile game is just trying to remind you or others that there is no need to be so mad about it and its alliances. Personally, i don't do well with alliances or stripping, but i can see the draw to them for others, so i dont understand when people get all angry about em, it usually just seems like sour g****s to me.

Have you ever been mad when you miss 3 times in a row in battle? Have you ever been mad when you open 40 chests and get 2* only? Have you ever been mad when you are so close at winning and the eb keep on critical hitting you?
Not that I am saying I am mad or I should be mad. It is just amusing that people keep saying "It is just a cell phone game, relax". No, I'm not mad, but I find it is, sorry to say this but very fake that people keep saying "It's just a cell phone game" while in fact they spend hours leveling up, hours earning gems to open chest, hours forming guild. As I said before, you don't even spend a fraction of that amount of time thinking what you are going to eat next!

Haha, if I am anti-social, I wouldn't even be in a guild, and wouldn't even go on here and find out what people think. Making friends is good, all KnD players should do it, but hey, you can meet new and cool people without stripping, can you?
Also, a guild has around 40 people. 5 guild will be around 200. You don't even have half of that number in real life, do you? Would you even remember all the old guild members when you move to the new one? Is it just about making friends, or is it something else? More security to your rewards? Having power over the stand alone guild? What's really going on here? LOL

Zenith, can you really have experience with hundreds of people? really? How many names can you remember?
Tell me if I am wrong, but both you and I know that forming alliance is all about how you create your power, about how you control this game.
If it is really about the people, really about your bond with the alliance, then why did the previous hiccup happen?
Sorry, I don't want to be an ass. I just find what's going behind the scene and why it happens that way extremely interesting. :D
