View Full Version : Should mods communicate on forum everyday?

What is a reasonable amount of communication for this game alone in your view?.

Considering in game info is usually non existent or misleading. Should the forum mods be communicating daily or at a minimum 24 hrs before each new event.

Each issue raised should be noted and acknowled with the feedback passed onto the devs. Once the devs acknowledge that and all further progressions should be reported back to the community via the forum.

Mistakes. Written apologies along with minor remunerations made to cultivate good will.

Currently our mods are inadequate. This is not a personal atk but we r getting less and less. We have no structure and professionalism in the organisation does not exist.

What do our mods do?, our voice...is too quiet and is a mumbling bumbling fumbling mess.

I want a serious discussion to follow. Not a locked or deleted thread. We need improvements.

Thoughts from both mods and community membership welcome.

I would assume the mods have little control on what they can post and likely have a authoritarian higherarchy giving them no power. They do not play MW and likely any other Gree game. Nevertheless, many have asked for 7 day a week coverage since issues pop up almost everyday but it's clear that is not going to happen.

At this point The only changes I've seen is CJ changing his name to Tadaaa and less info spewing from Gree.

Ideally mods would post proactive information like when FL changed to multiple rewards for top faction slots, the introduction of temporary rewards, or a delay in an event starting on time before the event goes live like the current LTQ. These are basic things you would expect from a company like Gree but for some reason they just can't seem to do it.

Other large gaming companies provide information to all players in game and on their forum like this when changes to the game are made

"Balancing
✔ Hero regeneration time has been greatly reduced on all levels
✔ Valkyrie training time has been greatly reduced
✔ Healers have been trained to avoid distraction: now they will always try to stick with and protect the same group of friendly troops
✔ Defending Clan Castle troops now use all 4 Castle doors when coming out (overall speed of deploying is still the same as before)"

Seems pretty simple. Communicate what has changed and what is new to all players.

Bottom line is Mods need to understand the game, communicate with players, and have the power to respond and correct issues quickly.

Guys, if you go back and look this was already supposed to have been in place and being released to the public. The way things are now, I'm wondering if CJ54 was a saint........

CJ54 is Tadaaah.

Everyone hated CJ so he "quit" or "got fired" and became Tadaaah. But yes, there should be constant communication, however as you said none of the mods play this game or any Gree game, so they really don't have a clue what to say until told what to say. They are, more or less, pawns.

This is a good question that is posed. but lets add a few for Gree to answer and determine what is right.

How many games does Gree run?
How many games per moderator?
What are the current shift schedules of moderators? When are they suppose to be online?
How many people are on each game forum they police?
How many threads are posted per day on average?
How many of those threads require moderator assistance?
What is the true profit from each game?
Could they afford more moderators?
Could they afford more developers?
Could the developers actually add more in-game news? such as a weekly newsletter telling us what to expect of the next 7 days.

Now we can keep going with these questions, but will any be answered? Also, do you think that a corporation will spend more money developing something that may not generate any more revenue, or keep it at the skeleton crew they run to take the profits and run?

my 2 cents for what they are worth.

How many games does Gree run?

We are active on 11 titles with more in the works.

How many games per moderator?

My focus is on 6 and 5 for Clementine. There will be more added as the company goes.

What are the current shift schedules of moderators? When are they suppose to be online?

We are online Monday-Friday. This includes more than just forum moderation. There are a wide variety of other tasks that are under our department such as content planning and social media.

How many people are on each game forum they police?

We'd have to look to grab those exact numbers, but a lot.

How many threads are posted per day on average?

Depends on the forum, MW, CC, KA, K&D, BtD, and WoN are probably the more active of the forums.

How many of those threads require moderator assistance?

We receive a large number of reports daily along with other posts that aren't reported.

What is the true profit from each game?

We can't release that information.

Could they afford more moderators?

We are hoping to expand our forces soon.

Could they afford more developers?

It appears that there are several positions open on the careers website.

Could the developers actually add more in-game news? such as a weekly newsletter telling us what to expect of the next 7 days.

That might a bit ambitious, but we can always look into more ways to put out more information.

There are several items we would like to change. Many of which would be to the benefit of you all receiving more information. Unfortunately, many of these items are going to take some researching, planning, and time.

Thank you for those answers Tadaaah, and now people of the forum ask questions in ways that help with communication. As you can see here. Simple questions help bring light to our needed answers.

Thank you Tadaaah. You actually answered some questions we needed to be answered.

I think you will find the players here more receptive and grateful if you gave us more detailed information about any upcoming events, in a reasonable and timely manner so we can prepare and plan for such events.

Appreciate the comment Tadaaah. Until we can get mods who play our game we don't have a chance. U need 22 mods for 11 titles in this industry. I suggest u ask for 44 including u n Clem. Then u need a way to keep all the info highways flowing. Sounds like u have no idea wats going on in the dev dept. this is a huge problem. Sought it out.

Ur health comes b4 any game. If u r crook cause of stress get out now!, quit.
If ur crook cause it happens, wish u a speedy recovery.

U r apart of a dysfunctional machine mate. We need to see the work going into fixing things. Actions speak louder than words always. U now fully appreciate we know wat we r talking about. That's y all the negativity exists. Cause we r spoken to like we don't understand the issues. It's the opposite which is true. Many on here have been at this for a couple yrs. we understand all too well. Speak to us as such. Regularly and transparently. Then u can have our respect back. Which we gave u at the start but u have lost as u can tell by the way the community in MW speaks about u. Everything can b turned around but u got to b a world beater.

While there is some truth in what you say, there are also some things that are misunderstood or misinterpreted. Yes, it is very important that we know the games that way we can understand and empathize with your complaints as well as your positive feedback and suggestions. We do play the games, but we often don't play them as much as some of y'all. Starting the game now, it would be impossible to catch up to some of the back knowledge that many of the most hardcore of players. You, the players, will always be the best experts we have on the game. We are currently working on the information pipelines, internally, so we may get information out sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, this is going to take time and isn't going to happen over night. We may try some items or ways of putting out information as you've seen in the past (like when I first came on) that then later has to be changed. Community involves both y'all and us; we aim to help make this a more constructive place. Toxicity only breeds more toxicity.

There's the problem right there. Why don't you instead spend resources on fixing the lotteries... sorry, "games", that you already have before you invest in new games?

Money, money, money....
